WFD Introducing New Category?

Over the years, WFD has established many new records/categories including: Open Doubles, Closed Doubles, Paradiddles, Flams, Edurance in both Hands and Feet, Bare Hands, Upside-down and the new Full Drum Kit record.
One of the most popular requests is to open a new category for multi or compund grip technique such as: Moeller, Push-Pull or Open and Closed grip. This will be a seperate category with its own rankings and champions.
One of the reasons it has taken so long to add these is due to the confusion and lack of understanding. To clarify a point using these multi grip techniques within a single stroke roll, one must consider the movement of the back of the hand instead of the movement of the tip of the stick. We all know that a single stroke is RLRL. The exsisting rules of WFD allows one stroke per one full movement of each hand, the right hand goes down, "tap", and then back up. Again, concentrate on the back of the hand rather than the tip of the stick.
Furthermore, if the back of the hand goes down and two taps are made by the opening and closing of the fingers before the back of the hand goes up, then it's a 2 note stroke. Same would apply for the 3 note stroke and 4 note stroke. These are singles but they're multi-stroke singles which is why it would have its own category.

Extremely educational video by Mr. Knudston. I had not thought of calling these techniques 2-3-4 etc note strokes while still being within a single stroke roll rlrl sticking. Makes perfect sense though. Thanks to Mr Knudtson for such clarity.

If this is ever opened up as a new category of it's own then the 2 stroke will be much faster and much higher scores than the existing one note stroke per full hand movement. Then think of the 3 note stroke and 4 note strokes? the numbers are going to be insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
