After all these years can you believe how few people still have no idea what constitutes a single stroke roll? Buzz buzz buzz. And there he is sitting there like he's the king of the world. But if you step in to say something you're Satan trying to ruin this poor guy. I give up trying to explain it any more.---mattsmith

well they understand the the hands need to go RLRL, their hands move in that fashion but the sticks buzz. I think they should understand that its the sticks that need to move RLRL also lol.

It is truly amazing! With all the books, dvds, instructors, youtube, so many outlet sfor learning rudiments these days, it's hard to understand how so many still don't have a clue as to the difference in singles, buzz or press rolls......

In 2002 on the Warped tour we were so distraught over the huge amount of contestants without a clue to what a single stroke is we simply starting a division called 'freestyle' and listd it on the WFD web site. Two days later kids were showing up wanting to do , you guessed it, FREESTYLE!!!!!!!
